Here’s your opportunity to cast a vote for a positive outcome! Fernandina Beach is one of 10 finalists hoping to be named Coastal Living’s Happiest Seaside Town for 2017. Fernandina Beach and Sarasota are the only two Florida towns on the list
that includes places around the nation.
Visit the magazine’s website at http://www.coastalliving.com/travel/happiest-seaside-town, where you can vote every 15 minutes for the next 19 days, but votes are limited to one per IP address.
According to their website, Coastal Living developed its list using several criteria.
“To choose the 2017 finalists, we began by reviewing destinations that have been covered by the magazine and nominated via social media. From there, we looked at rank on the Gallup-Healthways Well-Being Index, percentage of clear and sunny days, healthiness of beaches, commute times, walkability, crime ratings, standard of living and financial well-being of the locals, geographic diversity, and our editors’ assessment of each town’s “coastal vibe.” The result: an all-star list for 2017 from every coast! (Previous winners were not eligible.)”
The final rankings will be revealed online beginning at 7am EST on Wednesday, January 11, 2017.

Just as clarification, each IP address can vote multiple times, but only once every 15 minutes. Of course if you have multiple internet capable devices operating off different networks, each one has a different IP address so you can vote with each device during that same 15 minute span.
