Community First Credit Union is joining forces once again with the Light Up Amelia committee to bring fireworks to downtown. The celebration begins Monday evening and ends in a fireworks show over the river.
Pat Gass, President of the Light Up Amelia Committee, has been working with the city of Fernandina Beach, local businesses and citizens to pull the resources together to bring this event to the public.
“Following the New Year’s fireworks and celebration we (Light Up Amelia) wanted to continue to work with the local business and citizens to make these events possible.” Said Pat Gass.
Other notable contributions have come from West Rock, VyStar, Fernandina Beach and Amelia Island Tourist Development Council
