With stiff competition, Fernandina Beach ended up in 3rd place behind Ogunquit, Maine and St. Simons Island, Georgia in USA Today’s Readers’ Choice Award for the nation’s “Best Coast Small Towns.” Other top five winners were Rockport, Texas, and Saugtuck, Michigan.
