Giving Tuesday is December 1st — how are you giving back to our community? During the 24 hours of Giving Tuesday, the Nassau County Council on Aging hopes to raise $7,000 for our Meals on Wheels program. At $7.00 each, that’s 1,000 hot, nutritious meals the NCCOA can provide to home-bound seniors throughout Nassau County.
As you enjoy your Thanksgiving dinner, brave the crowds on Black Friday or shop during Cyber Monday, please consider giving back to your community by making Meals on Wheels, Nassau County senior citizens and the NCCOA your “Giving Tuesday” cause!
