Linda works exclusively in soft pastels, which are experiencing a
renaissance in fine art. “The intense color and texture of pastel is like no other medium,” she observed.”The colors do not need time to dry and do not change after application.” Linda works with archival materials to ensure thelongevity of her work. “I love looking at all the different colors in Linda’s big pastel boxes!” says gallery director, Lynne Pilkerton.

Before moving to Fernandina Beach three years ago, Linda studied art at
various community schools in NJ including extensive study at The New Jersey Center for the Visual Arts in Summit. As a retired pastor, Linda also teaches a course at the gallery that teaches guides participants to integrate their spirits and their creativity in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.

Linda loves her studio that has wide views of the marina downtown. She also loves her fun art colleagues with whom she shares the space. For more information, contact Linda at 201-315-2709 or [email protected].
