Institute for Enterprise directors take their ideas to Washington D.C. and Drexel University

Two of the Institute for Enterprise Directors, Douglas Newton and John Campbell Elwell have returned from Washington, D.C. where they met with the Vice President for Public Policy, Wayne Crews, Jr. and the External Affairs Officer for the Competitive Enterprise Institute Lauren Avey. The discussions focused on defending capitalism in a competitive free market system, as well as how to better guide young people in their entrepreneurial pursuits.

The two also met with Scott Parkinson, the Deputy Legislative Director for United States Senator Marco Rubio, regarding an endorsement for the Institute. They completed their trip in Philadelphia, meeting with Charles Sacco, Director of External Relations for Drexel University’s Charles D. Close School of Entrepreneurism. The meeting ended with Drexel pledging further support to the Institute’s future endeavors.

The Institute for Enterprise, Inc. is a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing free enterprise and entrepreneurial growth in a free market environment. Founded in 2014 by Douglas M. Newton and John Campbell, the Institute is fast becoming an effective advocate for free enterprise and entrepreneurial business, while offering financial aid and educational support to our country’s youth.

the best of luck to these two forward thinking and innovative businessmen. we need more like them to move this concept into place to keep this country OPEN FOR BUSINESS…..
