Artist Charli Leniston is the artist of the month for the Gilded Dolphin Studios and Gallery on Saturday, July 11th during the Artrageous Art
Walk from 5:30-8:30 pm. Charli’s work will be in a featured display and she will be available to discuss her subjects and her process at the gallery located at 5 South Second St. on the second floor, over Villa Villekulla Toy Store. Refreshments will be served.
Charli now resides in Fernandina Beach after many years living in various countries in Europe including Britain, France and Spain. Her work is in collections in those countries and in the US. Charli has worked in many media including welding. She now focuses in acrylics.
Her style leans toward Abstract Impressionism and is very colorful. She is currently working on a series entitled, “Being Alone.” The subject is female figures who are on their own but not lonely. Charli is also offering an ongoing class for painters of all levels entitled, “Kickstart your creativity” which meets on Mondays from 5:30-7:30pm.
Charli is really enjoying the new studio and gallery space at the Gilded Dolphin. She is excited to be sharing the space with the other 6 lively and creative artists and enjoying the beautiful views of the marina and harbor from the spacious windows.
