The newly-elected board of the Nassau County Republican Executive Committee held its first meeting of the new year on Thursday, January 15. The new officers are Jim Last, Recording Secretary; Andrew Curtin, Treasurer; Cheri Billings, Chairman, Justin Taylor, Vice Chairman; and Chris Kirkland, Corresponding Secretary.

The REC is the governing body of the Republican Party in the county and plays an important role in the grassroots efforts of the party to elect qualified Republicans to public office. The REC meets the third Thursday of each month. The next meeting is 7:30 p.m. on February 19 at the Yulee County Building, 86028 Pages Dairy Road, Yulee, Florida.
