The Fernandina Observer Candidate Forum will take place this evening, October 16 at 7:00 p.m. in the City Commission Chambers at the corner of S. 2nd and Ash Streets. The forum will be broadcasted via the live streaming from the City of Fernandina Beach website on Thursday night and throughout the upcoming weeks. (Scroll down to middle of page and click on “View City Commission Meetings.”) Comcast will also broadcast the forum on community access channel 264.
We are fortunate to have Larry Myers serving as our moderator. He is prepared and ready to go. Prior to his retirement, Myers served as Fernandina Beach City Manager, Nassau County Administrator, and was the former Legislative Aide to now Senator Aaron Bean.
Watched the streaming video. Great job by Larry Myers as well as solid group of questions that all the candidates should have been prepared for but was good to see their response when they didn’t have the questions in advance. Thank you FO for this event.
