This multi-billion dollar industry is helping smokers quit after decades of failed attempts. E-cigarettes, e-cigs, and vape shops have become the new “go to” answers to develop alternatives to smoking and here in Fernandina Beach now has one of the most beautiful and well stocked shops in the area. Speakeasy Vaporium has opened a full service vape store in the Keystone Plaza at 1925 South 14th Street, which carries electronic cigarettes, vape products, and over 60 different flavors of liquids that can be used with a variety of vaping equipment. A sample bar is available for anyone new to this concept or those looking for innovative flavor sampling.

Vap SmallerTaping into the rich history of Amelia island and Fernandina, Speakeasy Vaporium is modeled after a 1930’s version of a hidden bar or “speakeasy.” The owners are long time Fernandina Beach residents Jason and Jenny Hambrecht. Jason is also President and CEO of Construction Solutions, one of Northeast Florida’s fastest growing companies. He knows quite a bit about design and construction and was specific in creating a classy yet fun atmosphere. He shares: “When we were looking at store ideas we had a treasure chest—literally—of possibilities, but settled on creating a theme that would be engaging and fun while preserving the legacy of the area.” The shop has an amazing array of vaping and e-cigarette products along with a full size wooden door, reminiscent of a “secret society” entry. Where does the door lead?? You must come by to find out!

Vaping has recently become the most popular alternative to smoking traditional cigarettes, so whether you are an experienced vapor, or just a curious about what the store offers, please visit from Tuesday through Thursday, 10:00am to 6:00pm, Friday and Saturday from 10:00 to 7:00pm, or Sunday from 12:00 to 5:00pm. Their Grand Opening will be on Saturday, August 23rd from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm.

I am appalled at this “news release.” Nicotine addiction has no redeeming value, and one cannot make a silk purse out of a sow’s ear. The flavored e-cig versions are seductive to our youth. The Academy of Pediatrics has already taken a stand: http://www.aap.org/en-us/about-the-aap/aap-press-room/Pages/EcigarettePoisoning.aspx
This whole concept is a significant public health issue. How can we support it?

I would rather my kids pick this up than real cigarettes… Also if you have done any research you should know that you can get it with no nicotine at all… Stop trying to ruin hard working people trying to open a local small business. I guess you gonna try and close down everyplace that sells cigarettes too….

I guess they never taught you the concept of “harm reduction”? I know it is tough concept for some folks. Why can’t you get behind a product that is a lot less harmful to the user and has none of the issues that come along with second hand smoke?

First of all, I would like to state that it is imperative that we protect our youth from poisonssuch as nicotine, windex, cosmetics, prescrition drugs, cough syrup ect… We should exercise our voice against industries that market to our youth that will potenially reduce the quality of the future of our young. Such as mcdonalds, candy stores, seventeen magazine ect… but to imply that the vaping industry directly markets to youth due to flavors IS “APPALLING”. I am over fourty and still like apples, kiwi, strawberry and even cottoncandy. I have never personally been in any ecig store that didnt clearly state “only 18 and up”in big letters on the front. That is to even get in the store. Flavors by default does not constitute marketing to youth. I personally can’t imagine using flavoring such as meatloaf, broccoli, carrots, spinach. Now, Do I think that certain elements of this new industry should be regulated. Yes i do. I smoked for 30 + years and my mother is in 4 stage cancer and my father passed from cancer. I know first hand after effects of tobacco. If millions of people are switching to ecigs and greatly reducing the chance to get cancer and DIE, then out of empathy of human life, I support it. The movement by millions of smokers to have the opportunity and chance of a better quality of life by switching to water vapor with nicotine. Pushing the big tobacco companies out of business should be greatly supported. The tobacco companies has sold products that has killed millions of people along with chevy, ford, Toyota and so on and the Doc’s opinion, in my opinion premature and not looking at the bigger picture of love thy neighbor even if they are smokers. Disclosure: my spell checker is on strike.

Lucky Strike I hope….sorry just could not resist that! Cigarettes are killers just don’t smoke, there is no benefit from it – no high, buzz, it turns your fingers yellow, lungs BLACK and you can’t breath. Flavors? What flavor is COPD or CANCER?

My husband and I are now cigarette free for over 30 days thanks to Bryan at Cloud Factory Vape Shop. This is a huge accomplishment for us. We love our vaporizers and they have none of the dangers of traditional smoking
