Current Commissioner Steve Kelley, District 2
Current Commissioner Steve Kelley, District 2

Incumbent Commissioner Steve Kelley
Candidate Nassau County Commission
District 2

July 24, 2014 7:00 a.m.

In the past, joint planning meetings were held in an open forum between Nassau County and Fernandina Beach commissioners to address problems and clarify roles on important issues. Records from the City Clerk’s Office, indicate the last planning meeting was held 6/6/11. If elected, how would you support transparency and encourage a continuation of a joint planning process between the city and the county?

Commissioner Steve Kelley did not choose to respond to repeated requests to answer a series of questions posed by the Fernandina Observer. The questions focused on important issues facing citizens in Fernandina Beach and our island community. Seats on the Nassau County Commission are at large positions.

Incumbent Kelley is challenging Eugene Edward Alley, and Mike Boyle for a seat on the Nassau County Commission, District 2.
