Will you agree to split the local cost share for beach renourishment with the City of Fernandina Beach? If so, how? If not, why?

This issue is one that quite frankly, I am not well versed. I believe that out beaches are an asset that benefits both city and county residents as well our tourist traffic. I understand that there are a number of additional aspects including federal funding subsidies and an independent taxing entity at the south end of the island that will need to be considered when determining how re-nourishment should be funded. I will work within the County Commission to ensure that this issue is fairly considered.

Alley and candidate Mike Boyle are seeking office currently held by incumbent Commissioner Steve Kelley.
